I make a meal plan but we don’t always stick with it. Here is what we actually ate this week. What is in bold is what I said we’d eat.
Monday: Peanut Chicken Peanut Chicken Bowl! I cooked 3 bone-in chicken breasts in the crockpot while I was at work.
Tuesday: Turkey and Cheese Sandwiches Turkey and Cheese Sandwiches and Pringles driving from work to Hubby’s softball game.
Wednesday: Taco Bell or Homemade Breakfast Sandwiches Chicken salad Sandwiches (used leftover chicken from Peanut Chicken. Was also able to put some chicken into the freezer for another meal), Pasta Salad and Watermelon (Pasta Salad and Watermelon were weekend leftoevers)
Thursday: Sausage and Potato Bake Steak on the grill, tater tots, baked beans. Hubby wanted to grill, so we decided to do that.
Friday: Camping! We are quasi-camping! Hubby works tomorrow morning, so he has a ½ day today. I’m taking a ½ day off and we are going early, then leaving tonight. But dinner will be at the campout.
I don’t think we did too shabby this week! We did splurge on Blizzards after Softball because we had a BOGOF coupon for joining the Blizzard Lover’s Club. And it was hot. And its practically a law that you have to get ice cream after a softball game. Seriously.
