Frugal Christmas Fun!

Instead of exchanging gifts with our BFF’s Kim and Eddie, we decided to do something together. Friday night we bundled up and headed off to a local Bible Camp’s live nativity. We got a narrated walking tour of the nativity and then a wagon ride back to the dining hall, where they were serving dinner! They had sloppy joes, mac n cheese, hot dogs, chicken noodle soup, cake, cookies, hot chocolate, coffee and juice. Cost was a donation. Also available where family pictures and children’s crafts. We spent a long time in the dining hall sipping hot chocolate and munching on cookies before we headed home on the “scenic route” (aka the attempt to see tons of Christmas lights). It was so much fun and all for the cost of gas and a donation!!

Here we are on the wagon ride back to the dining hall!
